Wow it has been awhile I haven’t post something here in my Photoblog, I know I’m sorry for my MIA. I was so busy when new year just came , being part of Youth 09, was a great experience for me ,and some regular social networking activities, catching up with friends and some other random stuffs. Oh well, today is the best day for me to post up my previous photo stories, since I have nothing to do accept online 24/7. Hmm I have lots of photo stories to tell you, but I’m gonna start where I last stopped that is my previous post about my PROM night. Yes, that was my first ever post , so for my 2nd post I’m gonna talk about my backpacking trip in Europe last winter, (since many of my friends have been waiting and asking about how was my trip and all sort of stuffs) and again sorry!
Okay, first of all to tell you guys, the places that I’ve went not only in France but in Switzerland and Italy too. The original plan was suppose to be in France only ,then somehow our plans got carried away too much till Italy and Switzerland become the victim of our trip.We went for 1 week. Is it cold there? Yup definately cold! Freezing as ice cubes. Well since I have no time to post when I was away, I did brought my journal for me write something on the plane , at the hotel and somewhere I could just sat down and write.
In Chamonix,
Chamonix I would say is a small town , snowy , white winter wonderland. Everything is white when you at Chamonix. If you the kind of person that loves to seat by the fireplace by the window and seeing snow falling down at your window-side. Chamonix is a great town to fit in. The people is very friendly, and very active in sports. As I was told, alot of people from all over places came down to Chamonix in the middle of December to ski. They said that skiing in Chamonix during winter and blizzard weather is the best time because the snow are thick and smooth. During my stay in Chamonix, I can’t even feel my body. I was cold I have to grab what ever cotton materials just to keep me warm. My bones shaking and vibrating at a high rate of speed(!). Well I’m only at Chamonix for 2 nights , but I did spent my time wisely . I went to visited the Mont Blanc ,the mountain is about 4,810 m (15,781 ft) summit, it is the highest mountain in the Alps and Wester. The mountain lies between the regions of Aosta Valley, Italy, and Haute-Savoie, France. The two most famous towns near Mont Blanc are Courmayeur, in Aosta Valley, Italy, and Chamonix, in Haute-Savoie, France. So I also ended up to be in Italy in my 2 nights in Chamonix. (hehe) how fun travelling with a car here and there in this cold blizzard mode.

In Aosta Italy,
Aosta, is located near to Chamonix. To go to Aosta , we had to passed the tunnel under the Mont Blanc. So well how we visit Italy for just awhile. Nothing really attracts me much in Aosta , because everything practically the same as Chamonix. Same snow, same blizzard, same ski mountain , so we went a little abit far from we from. We went to the center of Aosta . On our way to the town center, the snow are getting lesser and dissapear from my sight. As we arrived at the town center, we strolled down and looked for any interesting places. Practicularly I don’t remember much where I was going , so sorry if I don’t tell much details here, and yeah bought some stuffs. -_-’.

In Geneva,
Paris is calling us back, so yeah again for the long long LONG journey. Serious I’m tired and sick of this. -_-’ Is not I hate long journey, but my feet kept getting bruises and purple-blue circles. So we call on Geneva when our way back to Paris. They say Geneva is famous for watches. From a cuckoo clock to modern digital watches, is where you can crave for. Geneva is located in Switerland , so from Chamonix to Switerland was just a couple of hours. So my dad brought us to the center town of Geneva , and parked our car at the sea side. From there we walked down to center town and looking for watches. Unfortunately all the stores are close in the winter. So there goes cuckoo clock that we wanted to replace the old on that we have ages ago. So in Geneva, we just walked around and sight-seeing. Geneva is not bad after all , if you get to know the places. My dad took me to the place where there is alot of swans , he took a photo of me and said ” this is exactly the same moment , same place and same pose of you with the swan, when I was same age as you. How sweet~~ ; yeah nothing interesting for me to shopping or take around since everyone is on their own holiday. We just drop by at starbucks and grab some hot choclate and muffins. Then we off to Paris , cause we don’t want to arrived at Paris in a dark mode.

In Paris,
Paris, yes Paris , the capital of France. You all know that. Well my stay in Paris was Great. Yup you guys must be very jealous of me , cause I’m in Paris. What you can do in Paris?! For girls , shopping is like their top reason why they want to go to Paris. Well I have no doubt about that. For me, I love going extrodinary places , search some local tribes in every hole I could look for, and getting to know some new things and breathing those find scent of Paris. During my stay in Paris, I was quite thrilled about the places that I went. I visited alot of places that I could not remember when I was young. The most top 6 places that I went and seriously mad in love — are (1) Montmartre (2) Lourve Museum (3) Notre Dame (4) Champes Elysees (5) Eiffel Tower (6) Euro DisneyLand & La Ville.
Montmartre. Montmartre and art are inseparable. The Famous Pablo Picaso used to painted his artworks in Montmartre. It is very spectacular views of abound ; tiny squares, winding streets ,small terraces long stairways and famous for vineyard. At Montmarte, I also visited the famous church monumental building Sacre-Coeur. I love the very famous white outline of this building, watches over the city from its highest point. As were told, it is built as a memorial French soldiers killed during the Franco-Prussian War. How termendous. *if you are into bargain and flea market, go ahead to Montmartre. My hands are just can’t get enough

Lourve Museum. In correct phrase, Musee du Lourve. This art museum is one of my favourite atttraction that I could not get enough of. Even if its a musuem , but this musuem is one of the biggest musuem, contains one of the most important art collections in this world, with over 350,000 priceless objects. Back in century, this musuem was replaced by a Renaissance palace and began the royal art collection. This musuem is a vast, because there is alot of sections , rooms and doors to go to. So take note , set a few viewing priorities before starting. Imagine 350,000 art collections , it takes approximately 1 month just to finish all the exhibitions. There is alot things you need to see. Walls and floors are made from genuine artistic marbles. Walls are full with paints and art masterpieces such as Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and Jan Vermeer’s The Lacemaker. There is also a scuplture collection, with antiquities of a great renown, with an unrivalled range of Oriental, Egyptian, Greek and Roman objects. I was having a hard time drooling and taking pictures and jot down some cool information about this musuem. Hhaha wow cool a study trip.

Next , Notre Dame. Yes the famous Hunchback, you know the tale of the guy that keep ringing the bell , oh wteva. Notre Dame, well I did visited it , and thought of going inside, but as soon as I got there, the line was soooooo long. Cmon , its only 11 am in the morning and that long line is just too weird. See how many people really want to go inside. What I adore most of is the interior works of arts include sculptures and paintings. I heard Notre Dame contains the largest organ in France placed right here inside this building. WOW(!)

Champs -Elysees. The capital most famous thoroughfare. The pavements are wide, and their cafes, cinema,s and shops atrract throngs of people. The upmarket shops line the streets and avenues radiating the Champs – Elysees. Luois Vittion HeadQuaters, Vrigin giant store, Mercedez Benz outlet and even more. The people on this strees are seriously looking drop dead gorgeous. Mostly black are thier favourite color(mine too). With the high heels and boots to high quality fur material, they sure know how to rock the strees. Parisians are very good in shopping and really alert with their latest fashion trends updates, so if you are wearing something from the last season, you’ll be the laughing stalk towards them. I mean it , seriously (!). And so,the famous monumental building : Arc de Triomphe or another word Place Charles de Gaulle. This first stone of the world’s most famous arc that customary starting point for victory celebrations and parades. Oh did I mention, I also visited the world’s busiest Mac Donald. Every counter there is always a customer ordering and paying for their food(imagine the line how will it be). Their counter are really very small and very close to one another. I guess that is the onlty Mac Donald at Champs -Elysees. Oh note to yourself, although it is the busiest Mac Donald, it is also the most expensive Mac Donald I’ve ever been. Spent about RM200 for a Mac Donald bill. I’m still keeping it okay*

Eiffel Tower. Yeah , you all should know by now.
This tower symbolize the country of France.I was told that this tower originally built for the 1889 Universal Exhibition at 320(m), it was the world’s tallest building.
Every leap years , this tower will redecorate uses 40 tonnes of paint. That time I didn’t went up to the tower because it was really cold and the queue was really long.
So we just took a picture from below and then head to the nearest cafe, get ourselves a nice of hot chocolate.
Lastly the Euro Disneyland and La Vallee Village.
Euro Disney is located 19 miles east of Paris. It is mostly likely out of Paris , and so we had to take the RER Train Station this time. The RER is an integration of a modern city-centre subway and a pre-existing set of regional rail lines. Well getting there is a pretty long journey because according to the map , the Euro Disney stopped at the station Marne – La Vallee (2nd last station). So we had nothing better to do but sleep. As we arrived at the station, the Disnely land park was just literally outside the station. People wearing wacky hats and cartoon characters are just popping up everywhere(!). Well I didn’t went inside the disneyland park cause it was too cold and bloody long queue (again) . So we decided to go for Walt Disney Studios. I didn’t play any rides cause we have to go to La Vallee Village after that. We just bought some spanky cool souvenirs and go back one station to Val d Europe station. La Vallee Village is located at Val d Europe. Okay first of all, my jaws were dropping all the time when I knew I’m on the right pages. Came across their brochure(s) at La Vallee Village , it said to have atleast 97 luxurious major brand name(s). La Vallee Village is a new street shopping village with open-air malls, floral terraces here and there, pretty pastel-coloured houses offering previous collections from prestigious brands at irresistible prices, all year round. I would say this is better than Champs – Elysees wide path streets. It is not that crowded and very fancy kind of place. From Agnes B to Zadig & Voltaire, I came across every store, was flattered and close to loose my sense of humour (hehe), and did my shopping spree with my dad. Our hands are just too rough when it comes to shopping. Well that’s what you’ll do when you in Europe right?
La Vallee Village is my one of my favourite best stop(s) in this trip.

Well that’s all I could say about my Backpacking trip Europe. I had fun with my family and yeah dry chapped lips and skin is what I get hom from the winter season. That’s all my photoblog stories this time, looking forward for my next trip to Hong Kong and Bandung or maybe Barcelona ?!
